I use technology everyday at work. I would like to learn more about how students use technology. I know that texting is a hot topic right now. Do any of you text while driving? Yeah, I have witnessed people texting while driving. I think it is scary that they are not focusing on driving but rather what they are typing on their cell phones. What do you think about texting while driving? Do any of you know how to use ipods? I was trying to figure what we can put on them besides music, like video clips etc. Anyone know how to do this?
I think texting while driving is not as bad as people think it is just as long as your not totally focused on that just look up every few seconds to know were you are at and who is ahead and behind you.
Jordan ---- Jordan, what about the other people who are driving and texting, not yourself? It make me nervous to know that I have to trust the other people out on the roads.
Technology is a broad concept that deals with human as well as other animal species' usage and knowledge of tools and crafts, and how it affects a species' ability to control and adapt to its environment.
Mr.Morris =] Mr. Morris, I do agree with you that technology helps us adapt to certain environments. Let's go back to texting while driving and iPods. Who can help us figure out other uses for iPods than music?
Courtney(: My mom goes to this online collage thing and she downloads her lectures and sruff on it so she can listen to it on the go .
April - Technology is very important, we use computers, cell phones, cars, lights,and doctors need technology for equitpment. If we didn't have technology we wouldn't be using a computer today.
Miranda.!(: - I think iPods are good technology, because you can download important things on them.
I think using iPods for downloading lectures is a great way to use them. Then you could listen to it whenever and where ever. Miranda, what are some important things that are put on iPods? April, you are right most people use some form of technology whether at work or home. What hot technology issues are all of you facing and have come up lately?

You can also download books on the iPods. You can just listen or read along. Guess you can use it like the old tape players.
Courtney(:. I think one of The most popular things in technology are the cell phones really. Like how they keep updating them and making them capable of doing things like going on the internet or even listening to music. And of corse comunicating with people.!
jordan(i think its still safe just as long as they ar weary of there suroundings and try to be as safe a posible)----Jordan, what are you referring too when you say it is still safe? its safe if youre cautious you can do both at the same time
Kim;; after watching this video, people will probably consider texting and driving. it's not a safe thing to do, but you cannot stop people from doing it. they'll either learn from other experiences or unfortunately learn on their own. /: .....
